Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account
A dependent care flexible spending account (DFSA) is an employer-sponsored benefit
plan that allows employees to use pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible dependent
care expenses related to care for a child, disabled spouse, elderly parent,
or other dependents.
- The dependent care FSA is provided through The Health Plan.
- The dependent care FSA annual limits are established by the IRS.
- The plan year runs Dec. 1 through Nov. 30.
- Reimbursement requests must be submitted no more than 90 days past the end of the plan year.
