403(b) Universal Availability Notice

West Virginia University Research Corporation (the "Employer") provides you with the opportunity to save for your retirement by sponsoring the West Virginia University Research Corporation 403 (b) DC Plan (the "Plan"). WVURC would like you to know more about your opportunity to participate and contribute to the Plan. Whether you want to enroll in the Plan or are already enrolled but wish to change the amount of your deferral, you can accomplish your goal by filling out a 403(b) Salary Reduction Agreement.

Eligibility

Generally, all common law employees of Research Corp. who receive compensation reportable on a Form W-2 are eligible to participate in the Plan. Former employees, independent contractors and student teachers are not eligible to participate in the Plan.

Contributions

An employee can elect to defer a portion of their compensation to the Plan on a pre-tax basis. Employee contributions to the Plan can be allocated among the investment options offered by TIAA under the Plan. Employees are 100% vested in their accounts under the Plan at all times.
