WVURC is pleased to announce its FY2019 compensation program, which will begin rolling out in the coming weeks. Initially, the planning details of this raise information will be provided to deans’ and vice presidents’ offices.
General Program Details
All benefits-eligible employees in facilities-and-administrative (F&A) funded positions who are employed by the WVURC prior to July 1, 2018, will receive a 2% pay increase (or a $702 minimum increase if it is greater than the 2% amount).
Benefits-eligible employees who are in grant-funded positions or split-funded positions (i.e., positions funded by a combination of grant and F&A funds) will be eligible for the increase at the discretion of the principle investigator (PI) of the grant from which they are paid. Employees with questions about their eligibility based on grant funding should contact the PI of the applicable grant.

- Eligible employees also may qualify for an additional discretionary merit pay increase.
- All salary increases as part of the FY2019 compensation program will become effective Sept. 30, 2018, and will be reflected on an employee’s paycheck on Oct. 26, 2018.
