Welcome to the WVU Research Corporation (WVURC) training opportunities site.
As a WVURC employee, you have many training resources available to you. Employees will complete most of their compliance training through our contracts with Coastal Training Technologies and ELT, however, you also have unique access to other affiliate training sites that are outlined below.
The first opportunity is through the West Virginia High Tech Consortium’s (WVHTC) Network Learning Alliance. The Network Learning Alliance is an online educational resource that provides formal and informal training programs in the areas of federal contracting, information technology, and traditional human resources.
We are also pleased to announce that WVU and WVURC have a combined membership in the Pittsburgh Technology Council. You can take advantage of membership discount privileges for events, networking, user groups, tuition, e-learning, etc.
Additionally, employees can register for training through the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI). The CITI includes courses in reference to; Protection of Human Research Subjects, Good Clinical Practice Course, HIPS, Laboratory Animal Welfare, and others.
