West Virginia University has teamed with the Fairmont-Morgantown Housing Authority (FMHA) to offer an employee down payment assistance program to its faculty and staff wishing to purchase a home in targeted Morgantown neighborhoods.
These limited down payment funds are available on a first-come first-ready basis. Up to $10,000 at zero percent interest over ten years is available in the form of a forgivable loan for any eligible employee.
Effective July 1, 2015, WVURC will change vendors for provision of its life, ad&d, long-term and short-term disability insurances from MetLife to Lincoln Financial Group. These benefits will continue to be provided at no cost to employees and the change will require no action by employees. USCIS anticipates receiving an extremely high volume of Form I-765 applications once the final rule becomes effective on May 26, 2015, and has temporarily suspended premium processing to ensure good customer service to both H-1B petitioners and H-4 applicants. USCIS will monitor workloads closely and may resume accepting premium processing requests before July 27, 2015, if its determined they can provide customers the level of service required through premium processing.
